BRISTOL Academy, Supporting: We Are Scientists on Thursday 6th April
From the moment they crept on stage to set up their equipment, matching t-shirts ago, there was never any doubt about the presence this band had on stage.
A shock, considering they were not the main reason most of the audience were here tonight. A run of the mill "We Are Scentists" gig, in run of the mill Bristol was never to be the same again.
As soon as all four elements were put in place there was utter chaos. Tom's angst ridden vocals echoed through the Acadmeys shabby walls.
His sheer presence was hypnotic, never have i witnessed such an electrifying performance from a front man, something akin to Jarvis Cocker on speed.
The sound; liquid punk in a dance masquerade. All four band members perfectly complemented each other, such a 'together' band for a relative new one on the circuit. If you get the chance, please see Forward, Russia!, you wont regret it!
