Dalek is an American alternative hip hop group from Newark, New Jersey, consisting of MC dälek, rEK and Mike Manteca.
Formed in 1998, the group released their debut album, ‘Negro Necro Nekros’ in 1998, which was followed by ‘From Filthy Tongue of Gods and Griots’ in 2002, ‘Absence’ in 2005, ‘Abandoned Language’ in 2007, ‘Gutter Tactics’ in 2009 and ‘Untitled’ in 2010. The band released their latest album, ‘Asphalt for Eden’, in April 2016. Dalek is set to headline a show at London’s Underworld in November.
