Deacon Blue are a Scottish pop outfit hailing from Glasgow. Originally forming in 1985, the group found fame in the UK throughout the late 80s and early 90s, earning themselves two #1 albums and two double-Platinum certifications before splitting in 1994. After a five year break, they returned in 1999.

Currently consisting of singers Ricky Ross and Lorraine McIntosh, keyboard player James Prime, and drummer Dougie Vipond, the band immediately got back to recording and releasing albums, and though they’ve found slightly less success, they still remain a group today.
