Nottingham-based five-piece Dog is Dead are an indie-pop outfit who formed in 2008. The band’s music - which they themselves have described as ‘an original blend of harmonious, indie-pop in the disco, with a cheeky jazz hint’ and ‘uplifting pop for jazz junkies and choir folk’ - has earned them a deal with Atlantic Records, setting themselves up for the release of their debut album.
That album - known as ‘All of Our Favourite Stories’ - hits shelves in October later in 2012, and is set to take the band to the dizzy heights they’ve been dreaming of since they secured their record deal last year. If you want to watch a hotly-tipped, critically-acclaimed new band on their first really big album tour, don’t miss this band gigging this October and November.
