He is a two-time Ring Fighter of the Year (winning in 1998 and 2007) and has also won the Boxing Writers Association of America (BWAA) Fighter of the Year (winning in 2007 and 2013), as well as the Best Fighter ESPY Award (winning in 2007, 2008, 2010, 2012, 2013, and 2014). He retired from professional boxing after his 49th match in September 2015, and has announced the Victory Tour, which is an evening with the boxer, which includes stories from the sporting star over a three course meal in a black tie setting with VIP guests and hosts. Floyd Mayweather Jr is set to appear in the UK as part of the Europe leg of his Victory Tour for January/February 2016. The London event will be hosted by Jonathan Ross.
