Flyleaf are an American alternative metal and rock outfit hailing from Temple and Belton, Texas. Formed in 2002, the band currently consists of new lead singer Kristen May, who replaced original vocalist Lacey Sturm in 2012, alongside founding members Sameer Bhattacharya and Jared Hartmann on guitar, bassist Pat Seals, and drummer James Culpepper.
Often known as a Christian rock group - though they don’t produce music strictly for Christians - the band have found international recognition, selling millions of records worldwide, including over a million of their self-titled debut album.
