Julien Clerc is a French singer-songwriter and pianist hailing from Paris. After learning the piano from age 6 onwards, he began learning and playing everything he heard on the radio simply by ear, and started crafting his own songs in high school. Signing to Pathé Marconi, he put out his first album in 1968.
