Matt Cardle is an English singer-songwriter who came out on top of the seventh series of the X Factor back in 2010, picking up a £1million record contract in the process. Covering Biffy Clyro’s ‘Many of Horror’ (which renamed to ‘When We Collide’) as his debut single, he managed to find chart success instantly, peaking at #1 in the UK Singles chart.
In 2011 he released his debut album ‘Letters’, which also found chart success, reaching #2 in the UK Albums chart. All was not to be, though, and Cardle ended up parting ways his record label Columbia. Now signed with So Recordings, Cardle’s unleashed his second record ‘The Fire’ late in 2012 - and a brand new intimate tour in 2013 confirmed.
