Megadeth are a thrash metal band from Los Angeles, California. Part of the iconic ‘Big Four’ of thrash metal—alongside Slayer, Metallica and Anthrax—the band formed in 1983, after frontman Dave Mustaine was fired from their soon-to-be rivals Metallica. After numerous demos, the band put out their debut album ‘Killing Is My Business... And Business Is Good!’ in 1985, paving the way for a major label signing and 15 successful studio albums to date. Their 16th record, 'The Sick, The Dying... And The Dead!' is due to drop in 2022.
