Mick Hucknall is an English pop and soul singer-songwriter who’s almost as famous for his flowing red hair as he is his songs - but don’t let that detract from his musical talent! Probably best known for his time fronting Simply Red - a pop rock band that have sold over 50 million albums worldwide - Hucknall is now establishing himself as a solo singer.

2008 saw the release of his first and only solo record of his career, ‘Tribute to Bobby’. The record, a collection of tracks written literally as a tribute to blues singer Bobby Bland, hit #18 in the UK Albums chart and saw him performing across the world. After performing at festivals throughout 2010 and touring in 2011, Hucknall is ready to hit the road again - and will be gigging in Britain in spring 2013.
