Originally founded in Philadelphia back in 1901, the Athletics would enjoy success, winning five World Series. They would then move to Kansas City in 1955, but after just over ten years of mediocre seasons, they would finally move to Oakland in 1968. Based in the O.co Coliseum ballpark ever since, they would go on to win four more World Series (most recently in 1989). 2014 saw the team getting a Wild Card Berth, lost the Wild Card game to their rivals Kansas City in one of the sport's most thrilling games of all times, beat their even greater rivals the San Francisco Giants head to head - only to see them win the World Series!
