People On Vacation are an American indie rock outfit hailing from Dallas, Texas. Formed in 2010, the band is somewhat of a supergroup - it consists of two singer-songwriters and musicians; Smile Smile’s Ryan Hamilton and Bowling for Soup’s Jaret Reddick.
Self-describing their ethic as ‘telling a story and avoiding typical topics such as relationships’, People On Vacation have quickly built up global fanbase, especially thanks to their 2012 debut ‘The Summer and The Fall’. Their next LP, ‘The Chronicles of Tim Powers!’, hit shelves in 2014, and was supported with a UK tour in December.
