Poison Idea are an American punk rock/hardcore outfit hailing from Portland, Oregon. Formed in 1980, the band currently consists of founding member and frontman Jerry A. alongside Eric 'The Vegetable' Olson, Brandon Bentley, Nathan 'Skinny' Richardson, and Chris 'Spider' Carey.
Inspired by the likes of Black Flag, Poison Idea would go on to release a series of records in their original '80-'93 run, including their 1986 debut 'Kings of Punk'. After their break-up, they would return in 1998, and haven't looked back since. Their only new LP is 2006's 'Latest Will and Testament', but more recently they've been putting out new singles and EPs - catch them touring the UK once again in May 2015.
