Rick Springfield is an Australian rock singer-songwriter known for his time in 60s rockers Zoot, and more so, his ensuing solo career. An award-winning performer and musician, he began releasing his first solo records in the 70s, often featuring in the Australian Albums chart, but it wasn’t until the 80s that he found global fame.
