Scott Ian is a talented American musician hailing from New York. Ian is most famous for his time as guitarist of thrash legends Anthrax and as rhythm guitarist of metal outfit The Damned Things - as well as being the founding member and guitarist of thrash crossover group Stormtroopers of Death. An active musician and songwriter since 1981 he’s also a pro-poker player!

Inspired by AC/DC and their icon Angus Young Ian helped Anthrax become one of the ‘Big Four’ of thrash metal (a status they still uphold today) and also pioneered the rap-metal crossover genre (something which has become one of the most popular modern-day genres) after combining Anthrax with rap legends Public Enemy on famous 90s track ‘Bring the Noise’. Nowadays he’s a hugely-respected star - and will be embarking on a ‘spoken word’ UK tour in summer 2013. Expect crazy stories awesome anecdotes and sh*t-ton of swearing!
