Soft Play are a punk duo from Tunbridge Wells.
Formed in 2012 under the name Slaves, the band consists of drummer Isaac Holman and guitarist Laurie Vincent, who share vocal duties. They went on to land a nomination for the coveted BBC Sound of 2015 poll, releasing their album 'Are You Satisfied?' the same year, earning them a Mercury Prize nomination. Their second LP, 'Take Control', arrived in 2019, followed by 'Acts Of Fear And Love' in 2018. Soft Play have a headline show at London's Electric Brixton lined up for November 2023.
