Walter Trout is an American blues-rock singer-songwriter-guitarist hailing from Ocean City, New Jersey. Beginning his career in 1969, Trout started performing alongside stars like Percy Mayfield and Deacon Jones, before moving onto bands like Canned Heat and John Mayall’s Bluesbreakers.
In 1990, he decided it was time he had his own band, and formed the Walter Trout Band. He released his debut album ‘Life in the Jungle’ the same year and continued to put out records, releasing eight in seven years. Also performing with band The Radicals and as a solo performer, he’s still releasing music today - and put out ‘Blues for the Modern Daze’ in 2012. Check out his October UK tour dates below.
