Woodz—real name Cho Seung-Youn— is a singer-songwriter, rapper, dancer and record producer from Seoul, South Korea.
Starting his music career as a member of the boyband Uniq, he released a handful of solo singles under the name Luizy before rebranding as Woodz in 2018. The following year, he participated in the survival show Produce X 101, eventually qualifying to become a member of the show's resulting project, X1. The group split in 2020, with Woodz going on to continue his solo endeavours, as well as writing and producing songs for other artists. He has released five EPs and a singles album to date.
