A brand new initiative Live UnLtd, specifically aimed at young people launched this week with £5m of funding from the Big Lottery Fund & the umbrella company UnLtd, to provide a 'Dragon's Den' style platform for those aged 11-25, offering packages of support.
Live UnLtd is launching following UnLtd's (www.unltd.org.uk) success in distributing millions of pounds of funding to individuals for the likes of Sport Relief, Channel 4 and Vodafone, and will create an umbrella for investing in young people around the UK to use music, sport, arts or traditional business to change the world around them for the better.

We Are Scientists have announced a series of new tour dates for June, in addition to their London Roundhouse show on Sunday, to promote their new single and album.
The New York based indie band will release their new single, "Nice Guys", the second single from their forthcoming album "Barbara", on June 7th 2010.

Liverpool band The Universal are set to announce their arrival on musical radars with the imminent release of their self-titled debut album on May 17th.
The mod rockers, who have recently been seen supporting Ocean Colour Scene and Paul Weller, have announced a London show at Dublin Castle in Camden for May 5th 2010.

Championed by Eric Clapton and praised by B.B. King, Joe Bonamassa is currently being hailed as the hottest blues rock guitarist on the planet, and what’s more, he’s coming to the UK to perform four special concerts in May.
Voted Breakthrough Artist of the Year at the 2009 Classic Rock Awards, Bonamassa will play the following shows in London, Rotherham, Bournemouth and Birmingham next month. Guest support slot at all concerts is by folk singer Sandi Thom.

City Showcase, the live music event which takes over the capital each year and takes place from 5 to 9 May, will this year launch in Chinatown bringing live music to the cultural capital where East literally meets West, in the heart of London’s West-End.
Critically acclaimed English indie-rock group The Magic Numbers will be headlining the event with an exclusive acoustic set, playing some tracks from the forthcoming new album “The Runaway” that comes out on June 7th.
