Bookies Slash Odds Of David Bowie 2013 World Tour To 2/1

Bookies have slashed the odds of David Bowie commencing a world tour in 2013 to 2/1, after the legendary singer-songwriter and musician announced a new album and unveiled brand new single/video ‘Where Are We Now’ earlier today.

Today’s revelation, which seemed to come totally out of the blue, saw fans across the world rejoicing at the news that Bowie would be bringing out his first new album since ‘Reality’ hit shelves back in 2003. Bowie also unveiled a brand new single - along with an accompanying music video - which you can check out below.

And, if the news of what will be his 30th studio album isn’t enough, bookies including Paddy Power have slashed their odds of Bowie going on a tour of the world this year, with some going as low as 2/1 - meaning we could very well see the multi-talented Londoner back in his tour bus later in 2013.

The bookies haven’t just stated their world tour odds, either - they’ve also revealed that they think there’s a 6/1 chance that Bowie’s new album will top the UK chart, while they give odds of 9/1 that it wields a UK #1. Interestingly, there’s also 7/1 odds that Bowie will perform ‘Dancing in the Street’ with Mick Jagger - will any of you be taking this offer up?
