Crowbar Confirm March 2014 UK Tour

Led by sludge-monster Kirk Windstein, Crowbar are heading to the UK for a tour in March 2014.

The epitome of heavy, the New Orleans mob have been showing the world that speed isn't everything. Their debut album 'Thru Suffering' stunned the metal world back in 1991, bringing with it a downtuned, slow-paced yet punishingly heavy sound. 

Crowbar recently re-entered their New Orleans studio to begin work on their tenth studio album and follow-up to 2010's 'Sever the Wicked Hand'. This will be the band's first album with new bassist Jeff Golden after the departure of Pat Bruders earlier this year.

Speaking about the latest Crowbar developments, Kirk says:

"Crowbar is my heart and soul. The music is a part of me that I am extremely proud of. It's an amazing feeling to be putting all of my energy and focus into something that I created 25 years ago! We are extremely excited to record our 10th full length album and to bring the riffs to as many people as possible on tour. See you on the road!"

As recently announced Kirk left Down after spending more than 20 years as their lead riff-master and will 100% focus on Crowbar.
