Thy Art Is Murder Announce Extra UK Dates Ahead Of Slam Dunk Appearance

Thy Art Is Murder have confirmed three extra UK dates ahead of their Slam Dunk festival appearance, to replace the shows from a cancelled Emmure tour.

The new dates, in Reading, Bristol and Glasgow, are part of the band's European run, dubbed The Australian Takeover, with three other acts from Down Under.

The band said:

"As Emmure had to cancel their upcoming European tour due to illness, a lot of fans were asking what happened to the rest of the bands. A few things led to another and all of a sudden the rest of the package couldn't do the tour. Not wanting to let you guys down we worked tirelessly with our agent to bring you a tour. A headline tour. And the final European tour of the 'Hate' album cycle. And we're bringing some friends.

We are happy and proud to announce our good friends from Australia, Aversions Crown, Feed Her To The Sharks and Earth Rot will be joining us on this exciting excursion. Our amazing agent still has a lot of work to do to pull the dates together for announcement but get excited for this last minute run of Australian metal before Holy War is released!"

The band, who tackle Slam Dunk in Leeds, Hatfield and Wolverhampton on May 23, 24 and 25 respectively, release their third studio album, 'Holy War', in the UK on June 29.
