Black Eyed Peas Play New Years Show For Roman Abramovich

R&B supergroup Black Eyed Peas are set to play a special New Year’s concert for Chelsea Football club owner Roman Abramovich, it has been reported.
The Russian billionaire has offered to fly the group to his seventy-acre private Caribbean island, St. Barts. The band will then perform to a private crowd including Abramovich, his girlfriend Dasha Zhukova, his daughter Anna and a select group of friends and celebrities.
Abramovich, who currently stands as the 50th richest person in the world, is also said to be spending millions on a lavish spread of food and drink for the lucky guests. The billionaire has chosen to have the bash on his private island, despite taking the delivery of the world’s largest yacht in early December.
However, the band will have to do well to top last year’s celebrations: Abramovich saw in 2010 on St. Barts with a host of famous faces including Jay-Z, Lindsay Lohan, Orlando Bloom and Kanye West. Beyonce is said to have performed at the event.
Meanwhile, frontman Will.i.am has revealed that he plans to release a collaboration with X Factor contestant Cher in the near future. Speaking on Twitter, the Black Eyed Peas star sent Cher a message stating: “@CherLloyd hey cher, when should we release the song we recorded in london???...(Its a smasher)”. Will.i.am also followed the post up less than an hour later, clearing up any confusion by saying: “The day after the last xfactor...cher loyd and I went in the studio and made a mega smasher...”
