Courtney Love Denies Trashing Expensive New York Apartment

Rock singer-songwriter Courtney Love furiously denied claims that she has trashed the luxurious New York apartment she’s renting, as well as owing over $50,000 in rent.
The singer, who was previously married to Kurt Cobain, has been hit by rumours that she has damaged the $27,000 a month apartment, as well as decorating the place, ruining its upmarket and stylish interior and painting over its walls and wallpaper.
And, if ruining the inside of the home wasn’t enough, Love has apparently been missing payments, and owes a fair amount of money to the landlady Donna Lyon. The alleged behaviour has upset the complex owner, who is now pursuing a move which would see Love thrown out of the apartments.
But, Love has dismissed the claims, and said they had ‘no merit’, telling the New York Post: “I haven't fallen behind on the rent - I have been paying month to month as agreed. My rent is current, but the owner is now asking for the remaining two months upfront.”
She continued: “Even though it's not required, I'd happily pay that and another six months' rent upfront if she would extend the lease for six months. I have repainted, but I asked permission, and used a painter approved by the owner.”
