George Michael To Leave Hospital Before Christmas, Says Boyfriend

Hospital-ridden singer-songwriter George Michael’s New Year dream may be coming true according to boyfriend Fadi Fawaz, who says Michael will be making it home for Christmas following his bout of pneumonia.

The stricken star was forced to cancel his UK tour after coming down with the respiratory condition, but, after a rough couple of days and a stint in the intensive care unit, Michael’s condition was significantly improving.

Although he was making improvements, doctors said he would unlikely be out of the private Austrian hospital before Christmas, meaning he’d be spending his festive holiday in a bed. But now, to his boyfriends delight, it appears as though he will be out in time for Christmas dinner.

“Christmas at home,” Fawaz told the Daily Star. “I cannot stop smiling today, the best day ever. Nothing to worry about, happy days.” Michael’s spokesperson also added “He is getting better and better.”

Michael may not be on the music scene for a while, but is expected to re-arrange his cancelled UK tour dates soon. If you want to know more about the future dates, stay with Stereoboard.
