Full Schedule And Over 40 New Acts Announced For The Great Escape Festival

The full festival schedule, along with over 40 final additions to the musical line-up, have been announced for the 20th anniversary edition of The Great Escape.

Playing host to over 450 up-and-coming artists and hotly tipped talent across more than 35 venues, the multi-day event known for providing a platform for rising artists and underground talent will return to Brighton in May.

Organisers have announced a final 43 new names for the bill, including Nectar Woode, Mandy, Indiana, Working Men’s Club, Gabriella Cilmi, Walt Disco, Lizzie Esau, Rafferty, and Oumy, as well as international artists La Plata, Tian Qiyi, showmore, and BANSHIMOKU.

Stage hosts for 2026 include Billboard UK, BBC Introducing, Clash, DIY, Dork, Kerrang!, NME, Notion, So Young, The Independent, The Line of Best Fit, Ticketmaster New Music, live agencies ITB, ROAM, WME, management company Raw Power, and independent record labels Bella Union, Hospital Records, Rough Trade, Transgressive Records and Third Man Records, among many more.

It was previously announced that The Kooks will headline with a special Spotlight Show at TGE Beach Site on the first day of the festival (May 13), supported by Girl In The Year Above, with Kingfishr and Peaches set perform Spotlight Shows at Brighton Dome Concert Hall on May 14 and 15, respectively.

Other acts confirmed for the festival include The Lottery Winners, BIG WETT, Villanelle, Haute & Freddy, Mother Soki, Min Taka, Keo, Tooth, Adult DVD, Dea Matrona, Bella Barbe, Tony Bontana, Angine de Poitrine, dogworld, HEADSEND, Marsy, benchwarmer, Dead Dads Club, Wesley Joseph, Tom A. Smith, Chanpan, Julia Cumming of Sunflower Bean, The Orielles, Pigeon, Why Horses?, Heidi Curtis, Lauren Auder, Matthew Ifield, Girl Scout, The Healing Power of Horses, Kerr Mercer and My First Time. UK drag artist Bimini will also appear at the Brighton Dome Concert Hall supporting Peaches' Spotlight Show.

The Great Escape conference programme will run alongside the festival and includes a keynote conversation between Peaches and TRANS VOICES co-founder ILĀ, alongside panels and networking sessions with bookers, agents, promoters and industry organisations.

The full schedule is now available on the official Great Escape Festival app, where users can build and personalise itineraries and receive live updates across multiple venues and stages.

Also new for 2026, The Great Escape have introduced TGE Wristband Rewards, giving festivalgoers access to exclusive perks at various Brighton venues, including discounts and complimentary items, via the official TGE app..
