A third headliner has been announced for LIDO Festival this summer.

Following its successful debut last summer, the concert series will return to Lido Field in Victoria Park, East London, with Bombay Bicycle Club confirmed as the latest headliner on June 14.

The London indie quartet will celebrate 20 years together with a special one-off, two-set hometown show, performing their 2009 debut album, 'I Had The Blues But I Shook Them Loose', in full, following an early-afternoon performance of 2010's more stripped back 'Flaws'. The band said:

“We had such a great time last summer playing in Victoria Park that when we were asked to come back to headline LIDO, we jumped at the chance. We wanted to do something different as it’s 20 years since we started the band, so we’re going to play our first two albums in full - Flaws in the afternoon and then I Had
The Blues in the evening.

“These are such important albums to us and the place they both hold in our fans' hearts has always meant a lot to us. To have the opportunity to revisit some songs we haven’t played in a long time and perform the whole of both albums is something we can’t wait to share with you."

Bombay Bicycle Club will take to the stage after sets from Metronomy — playing their first UK show in three years and their only live appearance of the year — as well as Alice Phoebe Lou, Billie Marten and Lucy Rose, with more acts to be confirmed in due course.

Last November, organisers confirmed that Dublin artist CMAT will headline the series on June 12, joined by Father John Misty, Sharon Van Etten and The Attachment Theory, Getdown Services, Katy J Pearson and more. Electronic duo Maribou State will top the bill on June 13, with support from Kelis, Folamour, and DJs Theo Parrish and Moodymann performing back-to-back.

Bombay Bicycle Club released their most recent album and sixth overall, 'My Big Day', in 2023, which was followed by their 2024 'Fantasies' EP, featuring collaborations with Matilda Mann, Liz Lawrence, Lucy Rose and Rae Morris.

Last year's LIDO Festival saw sets from headliners Massive Attack, Jamie xx, Charli XCX and London Grammar, as well as hosting Outbreak Fest with headliners Turnstile. This year, Outbreak Fest will join the All Points East series for the first time, with Deftones set to headline. Head here for more details on that.
