The Pretty Reckless Tease 'Dear God' With New Single Love Me

The Pretty Reckless have shared another track from their upcoming fifth album.
Pairing grungy rock guitars with frontwoman Taylor Momsen's powerhouse vocals, the emotionally-charged Love Me marks the third preview of 'Dear God', due out on June 26 via Fearless Records. Momsen said:
"Love Me came from a place I didn’t want to admit I was in. There’s this moment in your life where you’re so hollowed out that you start bargaining with God, not even for happiness, just for proof that someone sees you. That’s what this song is. It’s not pretty. It’s not wrapped up. It’s just a raw, ugly need and I think that’s exactly why people connect with it."
Produced by Momsen, Ben Phillips and Jonathan Wyman, the song will be joined on the follow-up to 2022's 'Other Worlds' by the band's earlier singles When I Wake Up and For I Am Death.
The Pretty Reckless will support the LP with the previously scheduled Dear God World Tour, which first heads across North America this summer, followed by the European leg in the autumn, including UK shows in Bristol, Wolverhampton, Manchester, London and Glasgow between November 26 and December 3.
They'll also appear at Download festival in Leicestershire in June as part of a series of European festival dates this summer. Tickets are on sale now.
