Download have announced the day splits for this year's festival, along with 14 new acts. Download day tickets go on sale at 10am today.
The new additions are A Day To Remember, Final Fantasy XIV's official band THE PRIMALS, Daughtry, Creeper, Hot Milk, Silly Goose, Marmozets, BAND-MAID, Stampin’ Ground, Frozemode, Conjurer, Annisokay, Private School and DECESSUS, the Santiago death-metallers led by the current Miss World Chile, Ignacia Fernández.
The join an already mammoth line-up that's led by Limp Bizkit (pictured), Guns N' Roses, and Linkin Park, who headline the Friday, Saturday and Sunday, respectively.
Other acts already confirmed for the summer include Scooter, Pendulum, The All-American Rejects, Cypress Hill, Keanu Reeves' band Dogstar, Bush, Ash, Feeder, Bad Omens, Trivium, Halestorm, Electric Callboy, Babymetal, Architects, Halestorm, Mastodon, Ice Nine Kills, Tom Morello, Black Veil Brides, Drowning Pool, Periphery, The Pretty Reckless, letlive., Static-X, Spineshank, RØRY, Dinosaur Pile-Up, Magnolia Park, TX2, AS IT IS, Story Of The Year, Sleep Theory, Melrose Avenue, Those Damn Crows, P.O.D, Hollywood Undead, Scene Queen, We Came As Romans, Mammoth, Kublai Khan TX and more. "We’re really proud of our line-up this year, and our second announcement brings further depth and diversity to DLXXIII. We have huge artists like A Day To Remember, Daughtry, Creeper and Hot Milk, as well as bringing Final Fantasy XIV’s official band THE PRIMALS to Download for their very first show outside of Asia. And due to popular demand, Miss World Chile - Ignacia Fernández - will be performing with her band DECESSUS after surprising the world with her incredible death metal vocals a few months ago. We have even more surprises to come, and tickets are selling out faster than ever this year, so this is your last chance to snap up the final remaining tickets.”
Download festival will return in June for its 23rd edition. Last year's event featured headliners Green Day, Sleep Token, and Korn, alongside performances from Shinedown, PRESIDENT, Weezer, Bullet for My Valentine, Spiritbox, and McFly, among many others.
