Keo Confirmed As Second 2026 Headliner For Liverpool's Sound City

Wednesday, 12 November 2025 Written by Jon Stickler

Keo are the second headliner confirmed for next year's Sound City in Liverpool.

The London alt-rock quartet will perform at the historic Grand Central Hall on the Saturday (May 2), returning to Sound City after playing a basement show for 200 fans at the festival earlier this year. Sound City's Managing Director, Becky Ayres, said:

"We’re absolutely thrilled to announce Keo as our Saturday night headliners for Sound City 2026. After their unforgettable performance at Sound City 2025, where they completely packed out EBGBs, with fans even spilling out into the street trying to catch a glimpse, it was clear they were destined for the main stage."

Keo released their debut EP, 'Siren', in June and have drawn comparisons to Wunderhorse and Fontaines D.C. They have a brace of shows lined up in Southampton next month, followed by a UK and Ireland tour in the spring. Tickets are on sale now.

They join award-winning soul star Jalen Ngonda, who was previously announced as Sound City's Sunday's headliner, having previously appeared at the event in both 2017 and 2018.

The Merseyside multi-venue festival will return to the heart of Liverpool on May 2 and 3, with the Sound City+ Conference set to take place on May 1.

Ayres added: "The intersection of music and technology has never been more exciting. Every year at Sound City+, we empower every attendee to walk away with real, tangible skills to supercharge their careers. From hands-on A&R sessions and digital deep dives to live production workshops, the Sound City+ Conference is a one-of-a-kind opportunity to learn, connect, and collaborate with the biggest names shaping the industry today - right in the heart of the world capital of pop music: Liverpool.

"Whether you’re an artist, manager, or future industry leader, Sound City+ is where the future of music comes together."
