Thunder Announce Second Christmas Show At Manchester Academy & Tickets

Due to enormous public demand and fan pressure – and the fact that Thunder’s first Christmas show on Friday 21st December sold out in six hours - the band have added a second Christmas show at the Manchester Academy on Saturday 22nd December.
The shows will stick to the Thunder Christmas Show format, featuring two sets (acoustic then full-on electric), with a mix of Thunder songs and covers, special guests, inflatables and general festive mayhem.
Both of the Christmas shows will be recorded. The highlights will be selected and a special ticket-buyer CD will be produced. For those fans who don’t attend one of the shows, a second general release CD will be produced, with some of the same highlights and some others which will be available for purchase on the www.thunderonline.com website.
Going forwards, Thunder have no touring or recording plans, but have decided that they will do an annual Xmas show. It is likely that in the future they will move the show to a different venue and city each year.
Doors open at 7.30pm, Thunder will be onstage at 8.00pm. There will be 2 sets with break, no support. Thunder 2012 UK Live Dates are as follows:

Dec 22nd - Manchester Academy - NEW DATE
Thunder Tickets for the show on 22nd December at the Manchester Academy are £30.00 each (subject to booking fee) and are on presale from 9am on Wednesday 18th April. Thunder Tickets are on general sale from 9am on Friday 20th April. The ticket price includes the live CD (only if you tick the box at the time of purchase – one per ticket to the ticket buyer).
