Ed Sheeran To Perform With Pink Floyd Members At Olympics Closing Ceremony

English singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran has confessed that he will perform a duet with members of legendary rockers Pink Floyd at the Olympic closing ceremony later this month.
The closing ceremony of the London 2012 Olympics is set to be a spectacular, with Take That, The Who, Emeli Sande, George Michael, and The Kaiser Chiefs all confirmed to perform - as well as of course, The Spice Girls. Now, Ed Sheeran has denied rumours that he’ll be performing alongside The Who - but confirmed that he would be performing alongside members of Pink Floyd.
Speaking to Australian radio station Nova, the flame-haired singer revealed: “I'm playing the closing ceremony - which I think is kinda cool right? A lot of people think that I'm doing a song with The Who but I'm not - I'm doing a song with Pink Floyd. I'm doing 'Wish You Were Here'.”
While he hasn’t revealed exactly who will be playing alongside him, he has confirmed that not all of the remaining members will be involved - though Floyd drummer Nick Mason will definitely be taking part. This means either Roger Waters or David Gilmour won’t be performing, though it is still set to be an epic duet.

UPDATE: Pink Floyd have since issued a statement claiming that they will NOT be performing at the London Olympics Closing Ceremony.
