The Boo Radleys Unveil New Single You And Me

Friday, 26 November 2021 Written by Jon Stickler

The Boo Radleys have dropped a new single.

Following the completion of a run of autumn tour dates, You And Me serves as the latest preview of their long-awaited seventh studio album, 'Keep On With Falling', due out on March 11 via their own Boostr label.

Soothing vocal harmonies float over the swaying, synth-assisted indie-pop number. Bassist and vocalist Tim Brown commented:

"The spectre of cancer hangs over the song and is the 'he' that the lyrics refer to. He's there, waiting to tear everything apart, but hope springs eternal and like the song says 'we'll find a way'. It's warming to hear the chorus featuring vocals from all three Boo's in perfect harmony, elevating that sense of hope."

Reuniting original members Simon 'Sice' Rowbottom, Brown, and Rob Cieka, the band ended a 24-year hiatus back in July, returning with the single A Full Syringe And Memories Of You, followed by a four-track EP of the same name in September.

They also put out the new album's opener, I've Had Enough I'm Out, in October. The record will mark their first body of work since their last album for Creation Records, 1998's 'Kingsize'.
