The Boo Radleys have shared a new single, Sorrow (I Just Want To Be Free).
The musically sunny and lyrically sombre dance-pop track is the final cut to be shared from their new album, 'Eight', ahead of its release on June 9. About the song, bassist and keyboardist Tim Brown said:
"Together in Electric Dreams’ for jaded, locked down, middle aged gentlemen. Deep, deep sorrow comes from disconnection. A loneliness that is forged from isolation. Humans may be born and die alone, but we cannot survive without other people.”
The band will support the new record, and celebrate the 30th Anniversary of their third album, 'Giant Steps', with a UK tour this summer. They've also got a UK tour lined up with Cud this autumn. Tickets are on sale now.
