The Decemberists Share First New Song in Six Years Burial Ground

The Decemberists have returned with a new single.
With Beach Boys-esque vocal harmonies, jangly guitars and a sunny aesthetic, Burial Ground marks the Portland band's first new song in six years. It features The Shins' James Mercer on backing vocals and was recorded with co-producer Tucker Martine.
Alongside the new music, the group have announced the A Peaceable Kingdom Tour, which will see them hit the road in North America with Ratboys in the spring and summer. Tickets go on general sale at 10am local time on Friday (February 9).
They'll also appear at London's All Points East festival in August, supporting co-headliners The Postal Service and Death Cab for Cutie.
The Decemberists' latest album is 2018's 'I’ll Be Your Girl', which was followed by a companion EP, 'Traveling On', later that same year.
