Pearl Jam Confirm Summer UK And Ireland Shows As Part Of Dark Matter World Tour

Pearl Jam have announced the Dark Matter World Tour.
The global 35-date trek will launch with a run of dates in North America in May, which includes a headline appearance at BottleRock Festival in Napa Valley, California.
The Seattle rock legends will then head to Europe for a mix of outdoor shows, arena dates and festival slots, including huge concerts at Dublin's Marlay Park, Manchester's Co-Op Live and London's Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on June 22, 25 and 29, respectively. The run also features appearances at Mad Cool Festival in Madrid and NOS Alive in Lisbon, Portugal.
Later in the summer, they'll return to North America for another round of gigs between August 22 and September 17, including a rescheduled date in Indianapolis on August 26, before their long-awaited return to Australia and New Zealand in November.

The trek shares its name with the group's 12th studio album, 'Dark Matter', which is led by its newly shared title track. Commenting on the record, vocalist Eddie Vedder said:
"I'm getting chills, because I have good memories. We’re still looking for ways to communicate. We’re at this time in our lives when you could do it or you could not do it, but we still care about putting something out there that is meaningful and we hopefully think is our best work. No hyperbole, I think this is our best work."
Produced by Andrew Watt, the follow-up to 2020's 'Gigaton' will arrive through Monkeywrench Records/Republic Records on April 19.
