Lost Voice Guy Tickets & Shows
Lee Ridley is an English stand-up comedian from Newcastle. Disabled since early life with a neurological form of cerebral palsy and unable to speak, he is the first stand-up comedian in Britain to use a communication aid during his routines, performing them under the stage name of Lost Voice Guy.
Ridley began performing comedy in 2012 after an encounter with Ross Noble. To formulate his routines, Ridley purchased an iPad voice synthesizer app called Speak It!, with which he pre-programmed it with sentences based on material he created. Ridley won the BBC Radio New Comedy Awards in 2014, and by 2015, he began to pursue a professional comedy career, performing a new show entitled Disability for Dunces, as part of the Edinburgh Fringe that year. The following year, he performed a sequel of the show, entitled Volume 2, and in 2017, launched a new show entitled Inspiration Porn, which made fun of "inspirational" videos and memes about disability. He rose to prominence in 2018 upon winning the 12th series of Britain's Got Talent. Lost Voice Guy will embark on the Cerebal LOL-sy UK tour across the UK in spring 2021. Age restrictions are set by the venue and vary for each event. Most arena and stadium shows allow children over 5 years old to attend, as long as they are accompanied by an adult but variations to this policy do occur. Some standing only venues (such as O2 Academies and Concert Halls) will allow over 14's to attend with an adult. Please check the event details page, and the official ticket seller, for specific information. We recommend arriving at least 60 minutes before the scheduled start time to allow for entry, security checks, and finding your seat. Door times are listed on the ticket. All venues are committed to being accessible to all fans. For specific information regarding accessible seating, entrances, or other accommodations, please contact the venue directly. Parking availability varies by venue and city. We recommend checking the venue's official website for the most up-to-date information on nearby car parks, hourly/daily rates, and public transportation options.
