Vashti Bunyan is a singer-songwriter from Newcastle.
After being inspired to start her career after discovering the music of Bob Dylan, she released her first album, 1970’s ‘Just Another Diamond Day’, but initially gave up after it failed commercially. However, 30 years later she came to learn that, without her knowledge, the record has become a cult classic in the folk community! She relaunched her career from there, going on to release 'Lookaftering' in 2005, and then 'Heartleap' in 2014. Vashti Bunyan will play In The Round Festival at London's Roundhouse in April 2024.
