While She Sleeps are an award-winning hardcore metal outfit hailing from Sheffield, who are signed to Search and Destroy Records. Consisting of frontman Lawrence Taylor, guitarists Sean Long and Mat Welsh, bassist Aaran Mackenzie and drummer Adam Savage, the band made a name for themselves touring the UK in the late noughties, releasing debut EP ‘The North Stands for Nothing’ in 2010.
After making waves with the EP, the band began working towards their debut album, and earned themselves a slot supporting Bring Me the Horizon - paving the way for their first headline UK tour. 2012 saw their first album ‘This is the Six’ hitting shelves, leading to the band winning a Kerrang! award and a Metal Hammer Golden God gong. While She Sleeps have unveiled the video for their new track 'Death Toll', the exclusive Record Store Day offering which has been released as a limited edition 7” vinyl and as part of the repackaged digital album 'This Is The Six'.
Ahead of this week’s Record Store Day release of the re-packaged album 'This Is The Six' that will feature new single 'Death Toll' and several reworks from the album, you can now hear 'Weathered Man' before it hits the stores on April 20th. 'Weathered Man' is the alternative version to 'Love At War' which featured on the original release on August 19th, 2012.
Not a band to rest on their laurels - While She Sleeps have hit the studio to record not only some revised versions of songs on their acclaimed album 'This Is The Six', but also to record a new song.
