Wildbirds and Peacedrums are a Swedish psychedelic blues outfit hailing from Gothenburg. Formed in 2007, the band consists of just two members; husband and wife duo Mariam Wallentin and Andreas Werliin.
Using a bizarre selection of instruments and approaching their music with an experimental attitude, Wildbirds and Peacedrums create a unique sound that has earned them slots supporting the likes of Lykke Li, Deerhoof, and St. Vincent. To date, they’ve released three studio albums, and return with their fourth 'Rhythm' in November 2014 - catch them performing in the UK for the first time in four years at a gig in London’s Village Underground that same month.
