This Week’s Top Tickets: Catfish And The Bottlemen, Two Door Cinema Club, Kodaline, Hootie And The Blowfish, Stephen Fry and more

Catfish and the Bottlemen have announced another round of tour dates for the autumn, while Two Door Cinema Club will head out in October in support of their upcoming album, ‘False Alarm’, out this summer. Irish rockers Kodaline have also announced plans to tour the UK this autumn.

There’s also dates announced by Columbia roots rock group Hootie And The Blowfish, who bring their Group Therapy Tour to the UK and Ireland in October. The legendary Ozzy Osbourne has rescheduled the UK and European leg of his No More Tours 2 run for 2020 and Boyzone will sign off their farewell tour at five venues in October, calling at Birmingham’s Resorts World Arena, the SSE Hydro in Glasgow, Nottingham’s Motorpoint Arena, and Manchester Arena, before five consecutive nights at the Palladium in London.

Catfish And The Bottlemen

The indie band, who released ‘The Balance’ earlier this year, have added further autumn dates to their touring schedule, with shows confirmed at Arena Birmingham on November 5, Newcastle’s Utilita Arena on November 5, Liverpool’s M&S Bank Arena on November 10 and the First Direct Arena in Leeds on November 11. The dates will follow their previously announced arena shows this spring. Tickets go on sale at 10am on May 3.

Two Door Cinema Club

The Irish indie-pop trio will play Cardiff’s Motorpoint Arena, O2 Academy Glasgow, Manchester’s O2 Victoria Warehouse, the Bonus Arena in Hull, the O2 in London and the Plymouth Pavilions between October 3 and 13, following up the release of ‘False Alarm’ this summer. Tickets go on sale at 9am on May 3, and support comes from Tom Grennan at the London show.

Kodaline

The Irish rockers, who released ‘Politics of Living’ last October, will call in at Southampton, Bristol, Nottingham, Birmingham, Norwich, Leeds, Newcastle, Glasgow, Manchester, and London, where they’ll take over the Camden Roundhouse on November 17. Tickets go on general sale at 10am on May 3.

Hootie and the Blowfish

The American roots rock band will bring their Group Therapy Tour to Dublin, Bristol, Leeds, Glasgow, Manchester, Birmingham, and London, where they’ll perform at Hammersmith’s Eventim Apollo on October 12. Tickets go on general sale at 9am on May 3.

Stephen Fry

Stephen Fry has announced his first UK tour in nearly 40 years, Mythos: A Trilogy – Gods. Heroes. Men. Directed by Tim Carroll and opening at the Edinburgh International Festival on August 19, the tour will also bring the writer, actor and comedian to the London Palladium, alongside performances in Manchester, Liverpool, Birmingham, Oxford and Gateshead. Tickets will go on sale at 9am on May 3.
