John Mayer will launch his The Search for Everything world tour with a run of dates across North America, commencing on March 31 in Albany, New York, before heading to Europe in early May including a stop at London’s O2 Arena on May 12. Tickets are on sale at 9am on February 3, priced from £38.50/£46.00 plus fees.

IDINA MENZEL

Idina Menzel, noted for her Broadway performances in Rent, Wicked and more recently her success with Let It Go, from Disney’s Frozen, will call in Bristol, London, where she will play the Royal Albert Hall, Portsmouth, Manchester, Birmingham and Glasgow, between June 14 and 20. Tickets go on general sale at 9am on February 3, priced £35.00/£50.00 plus fees.

SIGUR ROS

Sigur Rós will call at the O2 Apollo in Manchester on September 16 and 17, London’s Eventim Apollo on September 20 and 21, and the Clyde Auditorium at Glasgow’s SECC on September 25. Tickets are on general sale at 9am on February 3, priced £27.50/£31.25 plus fees.

JAMIROQUAI

Jamiroquai will accompany the release of ‘Automaton’, the follow up to 2010’s ‘Rock Dust Light Star’, with a show at London’s Roundhouse on March 31. Tickets go on sale at 10am on February 3, priced £55.00 plus fees.

TRNSMT

Radiohead, Kasabian and Biffy Clyro will headline the new festival TRNSMT, which takes over Glasgow Green between July 7 and 9. Organisers have made it clear that it is not a replacement for T In The Park, which will take a break in 2017. Early bird tickets go on general sale at 9am on February 3, with prices starting at £59.50 for the day and £149.00 for the weekend plus fees.
