Few festivals in the world are truly, truly diverse. Even Glastonbury, for many considered the Holy Grail of the British festival with its willingness to allow everything from hip-hop to indie and bizarre strands of world music, has a noticeable dislike for booking much in the way of heavy music. For ATP there are clearly no boundaries, as last year’s excellent 'I’ll be Your Mirror' festival at Alexandra Palace proved. There simply is nowhere else you could realistically expect to see Portishead, Swans, Company Flow and Godspeed You! Black Emperor sharing the same stage.
