The Paddy Power World Darts Championship is an annual tournament organised by the Professional Darts Corporation, or PDC.

First taking place in 1994, the tournament has been held at London's Alexandra Palace since 2008, beginning in December and ending in January.

The most prestigious of all The PDC's tournaments, Phil Taylor remains the most successful player by a clear margin, holding the title with 14 wins next to Michael Van Gerwen's second-place, at 3 wins.
