Rolling Stones Deny Plans To Start World Tour In 2011

Rock and Roll legends The Rolling Stones have announced that they will not be touring together in the near future.

The London based band has said they have “no firm plans to tour”, after rumours they were to hit the road once again in 2011.

Fans suspicions were aroused when a US lawsuit allegedly publicised the group’s intentions to tour in 2011. But the band has now since confirmed that the gossip is not, in fact, true – a move that will dishearten Stones fans everywhere.

The lawsuit involved ticket promotion giants Live Nation and its former chairman Michael Cohl, who apparently breached his contract with the company, helping spark the lawsuit in the first place.

The Stone’s haven’t toured together since 2007, but fans were hoping they’d see their idols again on stage for the first time in four years. Keep an eye on Stereoboard for any future Rolling Stones news.
