Kings of Leon Cancel US Tour Amid Internal Conflicts

The Kings of Leon have decided to cancel their remaining US tour shows following frontman Caleb’s drunken on-stage antics last weekend, which saw him stumble around and leave the set prematurely.

Caleb tried to pass his drunkenness off as a problem with the heat, blaming the temperature for being too high and causing him to walk off stage and sing poorly. PR teams for the band also attempted to pin the problem on the high temperatures when they apologised for the bands half-finished set. But Caleb’s brother Jared and other band members have admitted that there is bigger problems inside the band, citing ‘internal sicknesses within the group as a major problem.

The cancellation of the tour will leave thousands of Kings of Leon fans unhappy, as the shows will not be rescheduled. The band will resume their on stage duties for their Canadian tour in September.

“I can't lie,” admits bassist Jared. “There are problems in our band bigger than not drinking enough Gatorade.”

The only positives fans can take is that the band are at least aware of the problems and are not ignoring them – fellow Followill Nathan wrote on his Twitter “Not so good morning 4 me today. Ashamed & embarrassed by last night's fiasco.”
