Moose Blood, Roam, Smile And Burn Booked For Man Overboard Support Run

Friday, 13 February 2015 Written by Huw Baines

Man Overboard will be joined by Moose Blood, Roam and Smile and Burn on their forthcoming rescheduled UK and Ireland tour.

The band were forced to postpone the run back in September following an injury to Nik Bruzzese. In the intervening months, meanwhile, original support act Hostage Calm called it quits.

The tour gets underway in London on April 24, with stops also planned in Cardiff, Bristol, Leicester, Wolverhampton, Newcastle, Glasgow, Pinky Swear Fest in Manchester, Liverpool's Fury Fest, Leeds, Belfast and Dublin. Justin Collier of Man Overboard said:

"This tour has had a host of setbacks. Nik tore his ACL and we had to reschedule from November to April/May, Hostage Calm broke up, etc... With the new lineup including Moose Blood, Roam and Smile And Burn we are breathing in some new life into this tour and we couldn't be more excited!

“We'll be making stops in some new places that we haven’t played before, such as Poland and Northern Ireland. We're returning to Germany, where we haven't played since 2012. We'll be playing Islington Academy in London, a venue we've played twice and dreamed of headlining. We'll also be making an appearance at Fury Festival in Liverpool with Motion City Soundtrack and Trash Talk, among others, along with the Pinky Swear Records Fest in Manchester. We're incredibly excited and look forward to seeing everyone at the shows!"
