Swans have confirmed supports for their London Roundhouse show.
They band will call at the Camden venue on May 21, with Simian Mobile Disco's Jas Shaw and Okkyung Lee, the Korean cellist, set to open. Discussing the upcoming show, Shaw said:
"The plan is to do something pretty different from a regular SMD show, although the music is still being written, I expect it to be pretty much beatless, leaning in an ambient/drone direction. Although there are some interesting things you can do with detuned drum machines…"
Swans are set to release a deluxe edition of their album 'Filth' on May 4. It will feature three CDS, 'Filth', 'Body To Body' and the first Swans EP, plus live recordings from ’1982, ’83 and '84.
