First Wave Of Artists Announced For Jack Bruce Celebration At O2 Shepherd's Bush Empire

The first musicians have been confirmed for An Evening for Jack, a concert celebrating the life and music of Jack Bruce.
Taking place at London’s O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire on October 25, which marks the second anniversary since the passing of the Cream bassist, the show will feature Ginger Baker, drummer and a founder member of Cream, Billy Cobham, Steve Hackett, Eddi Reader and guitarist Bernie Marsden, best known for his work with Whitesnake.
Also announced are American drummer Dennis Chambers, bass player Jeff Berlin, drummer Corky Laing from hard rock band Mountain and West, Bruce and Laing, guitarist Clem Clempson, vocalist Gary ‘Mudbone’ Cooper, formerly of Parliament Funkadelic, guitarist Chris Spedding, Jack’s granddaughter, singer Maya Sage, his nephew and bassist Iain ‘Nico’ Bruce and drummer and son of Ginger, Kofi Baker. All will collaborate to perform songs from Bruce's career.
