Lionize is an American dub hard rock band from Silver Spring, Maryland, consisting of Chris Brooks, Chase Lapp, Henry Upton and Nathan Bergman.

Formed in 2004, the band released their debut album, ‘Danger My Dear’, in 2005,which was followed by ‘Space Pope and the Glass Machine’, in 2008. ‘Destruction Manual’ released in 2011 saw the band head into a heavier territory, which continued on their fourth album, ‘Superczar and the Vulture’, in 2011. The band released their latest album, ‘Jetpack Soundtrack’, in 2014.

The band have supported the likes of Bad Brains, Steel Pulse, The Wailers, Lee Scratch Perry and Yellowman and Hoobastank.
